What happens after the 14-day trial?
The app locks. You'll see a screen prompting you to upgrade to Pro. Your data stays on your Mac — nothing is deleted. When you upgrade, everything picks up right where you left off.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
The free trial gives you message analysis, incident grouping, and response coaching — enough to see how PreCase works. Pro adds the features you need for your attorney: full message history, the living brief, attorney chat, and PDF evidence exports.
Why $79?
It's below the $100 barrier — accessible even during financially stressful proceedings. It's above the threshold where you'd question quality. And it's comparable to other premium Mac apps like CleanMyMac or Fantastical.
Will there be a subscription option?
No. PreCase is a one-time purchase. Future major versions may be a separate purchase, but you'll never pay monthly or annually for the version you bought.
Do you offer firm or bulk pricing?
Not at launch. Firms benefit from PreCase when their clients show up prepared — the attorney recommends it, the client buys it. If demand for bulk purchasing develops, we'll build a firm tier. Let us know if that's you.
